We at Eterniam make you a promise: we will keep your most precious digital possessions safe. These are your digital possessions, we are merely trusted guardians. Think of us as the safe deposit box for your digital possessions.
Eterniam uses SSL encryption (RSA 2048-bit public key, 128-bit or 256-bit private key) for all information exchanged between you and our servers, both using your web browser and the Eterniam mobile apps. In addition, your digital possessions are stored encrypted: 256-bit AES encryption at rest. This is the kind of security you use for online banking.
Your digital possessions are yours alone. We will not look at them for any reason. We will not sell them to anyone for any reason. Our reputation and entire business depends on this.
You are the sole owner of your digital possessions. Have a careful read of our legally binding terms, you'll see our promise to you. You retain copyright and any other proprietary rights in your digital possessions.
When you share a digital asset to a beneficiary using Eterniam, he or she gets a perpetual and irrevocable license to that digital possession, unless your last valid will and testament says otherwise. This is also spelled out in our terms. Eterniam is unique in providing you with this peace of mind.
